Massive jazz celebration in Kongens Have marks 40 festivals

Join us for a grand celebration of the first 40 Copenhagen Jazz Festivals with nine afternoons of free concerts in the stunning greenery of Kongens Have during Copenhagen Jazz Festival 2018 – the perfect entry point to jazzy evenings on the city streets, in the clubs, cafés and concert halls, and at open-air night venues.

Kongens Have (literally: The King’s Garden) is the oldest park in Copenhagen, founded by the Danish royal family more than 400 years ago. Originally a private royal garden, today the park attracts approximately three million visitors every year, neighbored by the National Gallery of Denmark and the stunning Botanical Garden. Kongens Have is the biggest venue at Copenhagen Jazz Festival measured in both square meters and attendance, drawing spectacular crowds to its annual free concerts on the historic lawns.
