Mais Uma plays extroverted, entertaining and uplifting Brazilian-inspired live music with the singer Mai Seidelin in front supported by some of Denmark's best jazz musicians. The music is both dance-friendly and dramatic, and there is a guarantee of refreshing interpretations of Brazil's great artists such as Jobim and Elis Regina, in a beautiful mix with the orchestra's own songs. "Mais Uma has the courage - thank God - to play a wide selection of Brazil's best composers, and even though I'm a big guy, I can't sit still at all" said the now deceased Master Fatman. "Terrifying, entertaining, illuminating" was what the Danish Music Award's jury said about Mais Uma's floating concert on the water in Copenhagen, which won an award in 2020 for presenting the most innovative concert format.
