On all Wednesdays in Tivoli from May to August, you can enjoy sharp, Danish jazz profiles in collaboration with the Tivoli Orchestra under the direction of band leader Peter Jensen. Leading young saxophonists Marius Zeeberg and Asger Nissen have both established international careers in recent years. Recently returning to Copenhagen, they quickly forged a strong musical bond.
Sharing musical traits such as external influences, a lyrical and modern tonal language, and a forward-looking approach to jazz, they are now excited to bring a fresh, youthful, and festive programme to the Orangery stage.
