During the Copenhagen Jazz Festival, you can enjoy top-notch jazz in front of the Pantomime Theatre in Tivoli Gardens. Under the direction of band leader Peter Jensen, the Tivoli Orchestra invites varying soloists onto the stage. Leading young saxophonists Marius Zeeberg and Asger Nissen have both established international careers in recent years. Recently returning to Copenhagen, they quickly forged a strong musical bond.
Sharing musical traits such as external influences, a lyrical and modern tonal language, and a forward-looking approach to jazz, they are now excited to bring a fresh, youthful, and festive programme to Tivoli Gardens.
