The duo of Kresten Osgood and Søren Kjærgaard is unique in more than one sense. Both are key players in the Scandinavian contemporary/experimental jazzscene and have worked together in several bands, most notably Michael Blakes quartet: "Blake Tartare". They have also worked together in many different trio settings playing with bassists Thomas Morgan, Hugo Rasmussen and Jonas Westergaard and had the legendary trio together with trumpet master Herb Robertson called "The Motherfucking Trio"
What makes the duo very special indeed is that they are also cousins and have been playing music together their whole lives. In Denmark they are also Hip Hop stars..being rappers in the cult band Ikscheltaschel

They have played as a duo since they were kids...first performance was in Oklahoma in 1992 at while they were in their teens
