Two distinctive voices from the Nordic experimental scene meet for the first time in a freely improvised concert.

Egil Kalman is a Swedish-Nordic musician and composer based in Copenhagen. Working at the intersection of experimental electronics, free jazz and folk traditions, he performs with double bass, modular synthesizer and jaw harp. With a background in both jazz and contemporary music, he is known from projects such as Marthe Lea Band, Miman and Camilla Hole Trio. His solo work blends acoustic and electronic sounds into an expression that is both raw and meditative.

Torben Snekkestad has, over the past two decades, established himself as one of Scandinavia’s most creative and exploratory saxophonists.
