The fountain of youth meets the fountain of age. Halfdan Stefansson and Mikkel Wilstrup has stormed into the Copenhagen scene of experimental music, with wideopen perspectives on making free music. With roots in noisy guitar, electronics, free grooving drumming and what not, they team up with the seasoned traveller in this free art form, Sture Ericson.
Ericson plays inside and outside the normal sonic spectrum of his saxophones, Stefansson is edging out clean-cut notes and scraps from his guitar, and Wilstrup builds momentum and/or suspense on his drums. This will be a well served dessert by the end of the intense menu of the Copenhagen Jazz Festival.
