Carl Zinssou is a young pianist and composer creating powerful, emotionally charged music for his modern jazz quartet. With piano and cello at the forefront, the group blends elements of classical chamber music, traditional Nordic folk, and the expressive energy of New York’s modern jazz scene. This is a band unafraid to challenge the boundaries of what a jazz quartet can be.

Their debut EP, Et ungdomstestamente ("A Testament of Youth"), is a tribute to naivety, joy, and the emotional intensity of being young. Fittingly, the group is made up of young musicians with a playful and open approach to music-making.
