A historic finale to the Copenhagen Jazz Festival featuring three leading tenor saxophonists and an energetic all-star band.
Paradise Jazz bids farewell to Huset with a closing concert that reconnects with its beginnings 27 years ago. Back then, Paradise Jazz launched as a new jazz venue with the concert “The Three Tenors” – now the format returns as a powerful finale before Huset closes for renovation.
On stage are three of Denmark’s leading tenor saxophonists: Jesper Løvdal, Jakob Dinesen, and Kasper Sundby. They carry forward the legacy of an earlier iconic lineup – Jesper Thilo, Bent Jædig, and Tomas Franck – offering their take on how contemporary Danish jazz sounds at its most intense and tightly played.
Backing them is a band with both international outlook and strong interplay. Thai pianist Warit Tonnam Techakanont joins the festival, performing alongside Rune Fog on bass and Andreas Fryland on drums. Together, ...
