F. W. Smolls’ real name is Matthias Arbo Klein.

He is a father of four, a multi-instrumentalist, and a highly productive songwriter.

It is rare for him to perform his own songs with just a single guitar. Usually, he is busy switching between banjo, guitar, violin, mandolin, and harmonica in his work to keep Old Time String Band Music alive.
