Since their debut single was released on Crunchy Frog in 2015, D/troit has received praise both in Denmark and internationally for their groovy retro sound, which has been at the core of the band from the beginning. Just a year after their debut, they won “Best New Band” at the Scandinavian Soul Music Awards for the EP ‘Do The Right Thing’, which also earned 4 stars in GAFFA and the verdict: “An outrageously well-produced EP.”
