Gideon Tazelaar Quartet
The tenor saxophonist Gideon Tazelaar grew up in the Netherlands, where from a young age he developed his musical skills by playing with Benjamin Herman and John Engels.
In 2017, he moved to New York City, where he studied at the Juilliard School of Music and performed with and was mentored by George Coleman and Wynton Marsalis.
In 2020, he recorded and released his debut album, Volume 1, featuring Ian Cleaver, Felix Moseholm, and Jorge Rossy.
