Jazz singer Katrine Aidt Rømhild started her jazz career in France. Her voice has a velvety and mellow timbre, and she has a deep love for the music of songwriters such as Michel Legrand, Charles Aznavour, Georges Brassens and Serge Gainsbourg; the unique colors of the French sound universe.

Her exquisit quartet features French jazz pianist and composer Benoit Birlouet, the multi-talented Paul Kim from San Francisco on percussion, and French jazz bass player Georges Muschik. Together they present a repertoire of moving and fresh yet always faithful interpretations of beloved tunes, ranging from swing to Latin, ballads to jazzy waltzes, standards and chansons as well as some original compositions. For non French-speakers, the quartet always brings program text with translations of the French lyrics to include everyone in the story-telling.
