Cæcilie Norby
The internationally known and recognized jazz singer Cæcilie Norby is one of the headliners at this year's Brønshøj Summer Jazz.
Back in 1995, Cæcilie Norby became the first European artist to have an album released on the legendary Blue Note record company in New York.
Cæcilie Norby was originally known as lead singer in the jazz/rock orchestra Frontline and later as one of two singers in the pop/rock band One Two, where she sang together with singer Nina Forsberg. Since One Two stopped in 1993, she has primarily performed solo and particularly within the jazz genre. Her husband, Swedish bassist Lars Danielsson, has produced several of her albums and they have recorded one album as a duo.
Cæcilie Norby has received several awards, including Ben Webster award as early as 1995, and she is one of the best-selling jazz artists in Europe. It is with great pride that Brønshøj Summer Jazz can present Cæcilie Norby at this year's Copenhag...
