Schiødt/Loeb 4tet is a newly formed band that can be seen as a summit between generations in Scandinavian free jazz. Bassist Lukas Loeb and saxophonist Isak Schiødt have invited two of their favorite musicians to join them in performing their newly written music: Copenhagen free jazz icon, alto saxophonist Jesper Zeuthen, and the rising Norwegian drummer Veslemøy Narvesen.

Isak Schiødt and Lukas Loeb are also both known from bands considered some of the most exciting contributions to Copenhagen’s experimental jazz scene, including the quintets Baryl and Nausia. In addition, they have worked with artists such as Barselona, Kresten Osgood, Lea Kampmann, Uden Ord, and TS. Høeg.
