A brand new quartet is put together to play freely improvised music within the frame of minimalist compositions. The four musicians each have histories in distinct and strong groups playing tunes; Qarin Wikström (vocal/electronics) from Shitney, Anne Efternøler (trumpet) in her own Lige Børn, Peter Ole Jørgens (drums) from Cockpit Music and Jonathan Aardestrup (bass) The Way Out. However being well experienced in groups, as musicians they are just as at home in the open space of free improvisation. Together they seamlessly interweave composed material and improvised parts that push the music into unfamiliar sonic universes. It's musical, noisy, challenging as well as smooth, delicate and bold all at once. This particular assemblage of musicians blend acoustic and electronic sounds into something curious, assured and wholly their own.
