Horse Orchestra
Comprised of musicians from Sweden, Norway and Denmark, Horse Orchestra is a one-of-a-kind phenomenon on the European jazz scene.
In this septet, 1920s New Orleans meets 1960s avant-garde jazz with dizzying beats and detours to everything from rockabilly to renaissance chamber music – all resulting in an original, humorous, post-postmodernist concoction that goes far beyond jazz.
Having released 4 albums and played over a 100 concerts in 2 continents, Horse Orchestra is a surefire success with connoisseurs as well as casual listeners. In 2021, the album The Milkman Cometh won 2 prizes at the Danish Grammy awards with the qualification:
The band’s many personalities, with several compositional contributors, are also the band’s great strength - and the reason for their multifaceted style of expression. With their superior musician-ship and understated humor, the band is ready to conquer the world.
The band has performed in a.o. Scendinavia, Iceland, Germ...
