The legendary film from 1971 is now part of Denmark’s cultural heritage. We meet Benny, who is bored in his apartment block—until a magical tadpole transforms his bathtub into a fantastical ocean filled with strange and wonderful creatures.

With its playful visual language and musical universe—and the film’s beloved songs (performed by Otto Brandenburg, Peter Belli, Povl Dissing, Jesper Klein and others)—the film is full of rhythm, imagination, and adventure—an immersive experience for both children and adults. The film runs for 41 minutes, and a few trailers will be shown beforehand (no ads).

Feel free to arrive early and enjoy our spacious foyer café. We have drawing sheets for children, and you’re very welcome to stay and relax both before and after the screening.
