Park Bio is Østerbro’s historic cinema and a vibrant cultural venue with roots dating back to 1926. Today, the venue hosts films, concerts, and cross-disciplinary events, where art forms meet and create new experiences for audiences.
EKKO PARK is a two-day event as part of the Copenhagen Jazz Festival, initiated by Kaspar Vig and the association NATHAT in collaboration with Park Bio. Here, concerts, film screenings, and visual art come together in a curated program where sound and image reflect and expand one another. With a focus on the intersection of composition, improvisation, and audiovisual expression, audiences are invited into a rich, sensory experience.
Throughout the festival, Park Bio also presents a series of films centered on jazz and music, extending the experience beyond the two main event days.
Park Bio er en historisk biograf fra 1926, og bygningen er bevaringsværdig. Det betyder desværre, at vi ikke har elevator, ramper eller lift. Adgangen til biografen foregår via trappe op til foyeren, og derfra er der adgang til salen.
