Maggie is from the old tradition of performance where both singing, stepd ancing and holding a lecture blends in swiftly and at easy. The focus is aimed at singing and vocal technics.

About Maggie Nicols
Maggie Nicols joined Londons legendary Spontaneous Music Ensemble in 1968. Right away she started teaching and training the inhouse vocal-workshops and thereby got her self deeply involved in the local experimental theater.
Later she met british composer and pianist Kieth Tippets and folloed him into the group Centipede.
In 1977 she and Lindsay Cooper a fellow musician and composer formed the famous Feminist Improvising Group.
Few years later she started a performance-group for women; Contradictions, That typically other forms of performances and improvisations in other methodes like dance and music
Through out the years Nicols have been collaborated with other female groups like Changing Women Theatre Group, and she wrote the music for the tv-show. Women in Sport.
She is still highly active in music and teater either in collaborations with artist (Irene Schweitzer, Joelle Leandre, Ken Hyder, Caroline Kraabel) or solo.

Sunday Sessions is a new initiative presented at Koncertkirken for creative and improvised music, aimed at inter-generational and cross-collaborative artistic exchange among various artistic circles. Its working group has come together to facilitate concerts and workshops primarily targeting the youth, focusing on creative and improvised music with the aim of strengthening the creative process in music. 
Sunday Sessions is preparing a diverse programme of collaborative workshops and engaging music every Sunday during Vinterjazz 2024, with different content, facilitators and concert lineup for each occasion....
