The concert theme Special Projects highlights the unique events made possible by the festival setting: world premieres, albums performed in their entirety, residencies, tributes, alternative performance concerts, the very first meetings between composers and their ensembles as well as the many one-offs which embrace spectacular locations or convey topics beyond music in itself.
