Shanna was born "Deep South" in Florida in the USA. Here she grew up and sang in the town's small Baptist church at a time when Motown Soul, country and gospel poured out of the radio at home. With these sources of inspiration, she started creating music as early as 11-12 years old. She started a band in her neighborhood and experimented with recording and distributing her music on cassette tapes.

Today, she has toured both in the USA and Europe, performed at major festivals, and has had the honor of warming up for legends such as James Brown, Buddy Guy, Maceo Parker, Matt Bianco, Louisiana Red and Mud Morganfield.

After releasing her debut album "Inside My Blues" / "A Real Woman" with her own songs, Shanna Waterstown is now ready with her second album.
