Lars Dalsgaard has distinguished himself as a prominent clarinetist for over 50 years. His musical roots run deep, and he has been a key figure in several significant orchestras, including Ib Lindschouw's Jazz Band.

As a young musician, he spent the summer of 1974 in New Orleans, where he was inspired by the original American jazz music.

With his New Orleans Band, he draws on the Creole jazz music and pays tribute to Wilbur de Paris' special repertoire with unique New Orleans compositions and arrangements. The famous American trombonist Wilbur de Paris toured with his delightful Dixieland orchestra across several continents.

As guest soloists, the renowned trombonist Ole “Fessor” Lindgreen and trumpeter Storm Kleist participate.
