The Malian guitarist and singer Samba Touré began his career in a soukous band but soon played alongside one of Mali's greatest musicians – the late Ali Farka Touré. Since then, Samba Touré has collaborated with artists such as Oumou Sangaré and Toumani Diabaté and released a series of critically acclaimed albums. With his voice and guitar, he explores his homeland's desert blues through warm and hypnotic compositions.
