Galleri Krebsen is to be found in the back-house of a listed property called Krebsegaarden. It was built in 1803 and is situated in the Latin Quarter of Copenhagen. In the front house we run a restaurant; Krebsegaarden Mad & Kunst, that changes character and contents every time the gallery changes the exhibition. Since 1991 our gallery has on a regular basis been showing a variety of exhibitions from Nordic and international artists. Exhibitions span from paintings via drawings and graphic prints to textiles, photos and sculptures. The building which houses the gallery has two floors of exhibition area, while the two top floors are used for an homeopathic clinic and a studio. The gallery offers charming surroundings for private functions such as receptions, meetings, photo shoots etc. and can accommodate buffet dinners for 40-80 persons and private parties. Our restaurant will handle all catering challenges.
