This year Drop Inn has assigned themes to the days that represent the best in Jazz.
A superselection that celebrates and highlights instruments, sub-genres & the trends in Jazz-Denmark.
The first Friday in our festival program is under the theme: Funky Jazz.

Surface Tension merges their deep love for neo-soul, funk and contemporary jazz for a new and fresh take on todays jazz- and groove-sounds.
The band members have long been active on the music scene as sidemen for acts such as Sira Jovina, Benal, Mumle, Freja Kirk, Filuka and many more. Now they're ready with their own unique blend of genres, that will definitely get you movin'

They'll be playing music from their debut-album which is set to be released in the fall of 2026
