Nikolaj Hess is known for his golden touch and his lyrical, open, internationally oriented musical language, where jazz, improvisation, Nordic soundscapes and cinematic moods merge. In this special edition of Nikolaj Hess Young Gen Special, he, Jayla Chee, Karl Seyer-Hansen and Ronja Andersson create a creative space in which the energy and perspectives of all four musicians become an integral part of the expression.
Jazz has a beautiful and long cross-generational tradition, and NH Young Gen Special looks forward to diving into this timeless musical universe together with the listeners.
The music will be a mixture of new and old classics alongside original compositions — forward-looking, yet with deep love for a rich musical tradition.
