A superselection that celebrates and highlights instruments, subgenres, the trends and state of the in Jazz-Denmark.
The first Saturday in our festival program is under the theme: Urban Soul in Jazz.

Venya is a band whose music moves freely between the genres of neo soul, jazz and pop, where the improvisational elements of jazz merge with the groove and energy of pop. The band's unique sound is based on a mix of acoustic and electronic elements with lyrics and melodies in focus. The members come from both Sweden and Denmark. Venya's music reflects the identity of six different young musicians. These identities helps to challenge the boundaries between genres with a soundscape that still feels accessible.
