The Swedish singer and composer Iris Bergcrantz has been praised for her deeply expressive artistry and rich, resonant voice. She has released four albums under her own name, all of which have received enthusiastic reviews. Young Dreamswas nominated for a Danish Music Award for Vocal Jazz Album of the Year in 2020, and Trasighet och Fransar (2022) was nominated for Jazz Album of the Year at the Manifest Gala. That same year, she appeared as a soloist on one of Sweden’s most popular music programs, Allsång på Skansen.
Most recently, Bergcrantz released Vi fanns förut, which was met with excellent reviews. As part of the tour, the band also performed live on TV4 Nyhetsmorgon.

Iris has performed on stages such as the Sydney Opera House (with Åkervinda), A-Trane in Berlin, the Rochester International Jazz Festival (New York State), the London A Cappella Festival, as well as across much of Europe. In 2019, she was nominated for a Swedish Grammy with the group Åkervinda, and in 2024 the group won a Danish Music Award.
