San Telmo Lounge is one of the pioneering bands of Argentine electrotango, founded in 2003 by its leader, the guitarist and composer Martin Delgado. Its first expressions were linked to electronic tango and its premise has always been to experiment with the sound of tango in dialogue with other very diverse genres such as jazz, cumbia, folklore, rock and many others.
He currently has 8 record releases, has toured extensively in Europe and South America, was nominated for the 2008 Gardel Award, was a finalist in the 2011 and 2012 USA Songwriting Competition, was recognized with the 2007 MUSI award by the Musicians Union of Rosario and the Order of the Chip 2014 of the Ministry of Culture of Santa Fe. To this day, San Telmo Lounge has become one of the benchmarks on the international map of tango and its fusions.
