During the last ten years, a wide selection of musical acts have been on stage at Tranquebar – Brazilian jazz, Balkan, flamenco, tango, klezmer and much more. We want to present music from all over the world - so for us, “world music” can also mean soul, jazz, blues, folk etc.
With only 100 seats and a small well-stocked bar, surrounded by books and ethnic crafts from all over the world, both musicians and the audience can enjoy the very special and intimate atmosphere at Tranquebar.
