Halfdan Magnus Stefansson is active on the underground scenes in Denmark, in a long line of bands placed differently on the spectrum of alternative music.

Only on rare occasions is he performing solo, but with two concerts in June in his own name, he is intending to sum up his work with the electric guitar, in a format to let them stand by themselves.

He is autodidact in his approach to the instrument, somewhat extending the nowave guitar tradition, using the instrument as a generator of sound, as opposed to it being a strict idiomatic object.

He is working with alternative tunings, techniques, and preparations, all used to create atmospheric sounds - both harsh and of beauty.
